Type Locality and Naming

Synonym: E2ob


Lithology and Thickness

28.6 m of Variegated clays, locally sandy with iron and manganese oxides, containing manganese concretions in the middle part of the sequence. At the base, fragments of turtle shells and mammal remains are present. The foundation consists of yellowish-brown, variably-grained sands.
